Getting Started with Generative AI in Education for the Community

You’ve probably heard the buzz about Generative AI (Gen AI)—maybe it’s helped you craft the perfect email, plan a weekend trip, or even figure out what to text back in a tricky conversation. But when it comes to utilizing it to its full potential, it may feel a little… intimidating or confusing, right?

Don’t worry, though—this 3-4 hour crash training is here to show you that Gen AI is just another tool to assist you, like a calculator or Google Search, but with an even greater potential to augment, but not replace your work.

This is your no-stress introduction to what Gen AI can do and how to get started using it in a way that’s both effective and responsible. Think of it as a quick taste—a little sample platter of possibilities to help you imagine how Gen AI may augment your creativity, problem solving and productivity now and in the future.
